I traveled to Austin, Texas this past weekend for the South By Southwest Interactive Awards. SXSW is a film, interactive and music festival that is in its twentieth year. This year it drew over 27,000 people from all over the world.
It was my first time in Texas and can I just say that I fell in love! The people are great, the culture is fabulous (as are the tacos!), and the weather was beautiful. The following are just a few iPhone photos I took during the few days I was there.
If you feel like it, check out our Living Galapagos project (www.livinggalapagos.org) which won the SXSW Student Interactive award. UNC students are currently in the Galapagos Islands producing content for the project for the third time. I can't wait to see what they come back with!
